The 'palkhis' (palanquins) of Sant Tukaram and Sant Dnyaneshwar are taken out by warkaris (devotees of Lord Vitthal) as part of their annual 'wari' pilgrimage to reach the famous temple of Lord Vitthal at Pandharpur in Solapur district on Ashadhi Ekadashi.

On Sunday afternoon, Sant Shri Dnyaneshwar Maharaj's revered palanquin (Palkhi) which halted in Hadapsar, where thousands of devotees gathered for darshan and blessings. After a spiritually charged stop, Palkhi continued its journey, crossing the scenic Dive Ghat on the way to Saswad, where it will halt for the night. Devotees continue to walk in devotion and joy.
