All-party representatives have decided to come together and intensify the struggle for the straight route of the Pune-Nashik semi-high-speed railway project. For this, the first meeting has been organised in Mumbai on March 3, 2025, on the first day of the budget session.
In this meeting, the formation of an action committee will be discussed to ensure that the Pune-Nashik railway follows the Sinnar-Sangamner-Narayangaon-Manchar-Rajgurunagar-Chakan route. All political differences will be set aside, and a comprehensive approach will be taken to accelerate this project.

A statement regarding this project was given to the representatives of Sinnar, Sangamner, Narayangaon, Manchar, Rajgurunagar, Chakan and Pune. Following this, all MLAs and MPs have been invited again to attend the meeting.

Expectation of concrete decisions for the railway project
As the Pune-Nashik semi-high-speed railway project is crucial for development, it is expected that significant decisions will be taken during this meeting.
"We are going to take a firm stand for the proposed alignment of the Pune-Nashik railway project, setting aside all political differences. This fight will be intensified through the Action Committee," said MLA Dilip Walse Patil.
