The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), in partnership with MediCheck Health Services Pvt. Ltd., has inaugurated a modern diagnostic centre at Panchsheel Chowk on Tadiwala Road. The facility aims to provide quality healthcare services at affordable rates, making crucial diagnostic tools more accessible to Pune’s residents.
The centre offers a wide range of medical investigations including blood tests, X-rays, CT scans, sonography, ECG, mammography, pulmonary function tests (PFT), DEXA scans, audiometry and other advanced pathology and radiology services - all at significantly reduced rates.
"This initiative ensures that no one in Pune is denied early diagnosis due to high costs," said Siddesh Wagh, coordinator at MediCheck Health Services. "Our facility is equipped with cutting-edge technology, and we are proud to have a dedicated team of expert doctors and skilled technicians ensuring accurate and timely reports," Wagh added.
Sanjeev Wavre, Assistant Health Officer of PMC, said, "Early diagnosis remains an important step in effective treatment, especially for chronic and lifestyle-related illnesses. I urge citizens to avail themselves of these affordable diagnostic services. We appeal to Pune residents to take full advantage of this facility for regular health checkups and preventive screenings."
This public-private collaboration reflects PMC’s commitment to proactive and inclusive healthcare.
