Pune: Fire Breaks Out at Garbage Depot in Devachi Urali, Electric Bike Catches Fire in Sadashiv Peth; No Injuries Reported
The bike, rented from Market Yard about a month ago, caught fire while the owner was driving it today.

In two separate incidents, a fire broke out in the garbage depot premises at Devachi Urali in the early hours of the morning, and a bike caught fire. Five fire brigade vehicles and personnel brought the fire under control, and cooling work was undertaken.
In the second incident, a two-wheeler (electric bike) caught fire in front of the Sadashiv Peth, Perugate police post. The fire was doused by the fire brigade. No one was injured.
The bike, rented from Market Yard about a month ago, caught fire while the owner was driving it today. Nearby residents quickly extinguished the flames using fire extinguishers before the fire brigade arrived. Firefighters cooled the battery and the bike. Fortunately, no injuries were reported. Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire to ensure safety and prevent similar incidents.
