Massive Traffic Snarls In Pune: Navale Bridge To Warje Bridge And Vadgaon Bridge On Sinhagad Road Gridlocked

The persistent traffic snarls between Navale Bridge and Warje on the busy Mumbai–Bangalore Highway in Pune reached severe levels on Friday, as the festive rush added to the daily woes of commuters.

For several weeks, this stretch has been plagued with slow-moving traffic, frustrating thousands of office-goers, local residents, and travellers. However, the situation was even more grim today due to increased vehicle movement for festival-related shopping and travel.

Social media platforms have been flooded with complaints and updates from affected commuters, who continue to demand long-term traffic management solutions.

In addition to the highway congestion, key areas like Vadgaon Bridge on Sinhagad Road also reported heavy traffic, causing further delays and chaos.

Traffic police were deployed in larger numbers, but commuters say short-term measures are not enough. Many have urged the authorities to improve road infrastructure, regulate heavy vehicle movement, and resolve bottlenecks that lead to daily logjams.
