The Maharashtra Cricket Association (MCA) Stadium in Pune's Gahunje will be hosting a T20I between India and England on Friday, January 31. Ahead of the match, the MCA has promised to provide enhanced facilities to spectators.
Parking facilities:
In a press release, Kamlesh Pisal, Honorary Secretary, MCA, said they have acquired 45 acres of additional land for parking. "Dedicated parking routes and slots have been designed to streamline vehicular movement. Videos and photos highlighting these routes will be shared on MCA's official Instagram account, making access easier for visitors," he said.

Pisal added that security personnel would be deployed across parking areas to ensure safety and assist in route guidance for spectators navigating toward the stadium. "Traffic control and route management will be handled by a dedicated team of police officers, ensuring smooth flow of traffic and enhanced security for everyone attending," he further said.
Free drinking water:
Pisal said spectators would be given free drinking water during the match. "MCA has taken note of feedback from the last India vs New Zealand Test match and has implemented solutions to prevent delays in water dispensing. Adequate water will be readily available throughout the venue, with no anticipated lapses. As this is an evening match, excessive heat is not expected. However, free drinking water will still be provided to ensure spectator comfort," he added.

The MCA Secretary also stated that the washroom facilities at the stadium have been upgraded. "The spectators' washroom facilities at the North Stand have been significantly increased, catering to the growing attendance. Additionally, newly constructed washrooms for the press and media personnel will ensure their convenience and comfort."
"Our primary focus is on delivering the best facilities and a memorable experience for all our visitors. From improved infrastructure to enhanced security and thoughtful amenities, every initiative underscores our dedication to serving the needs of our spectators and stakeholders," Pisal concluded.
