Western Railway To Add 3 Extra AC Chair Car Coaches To Mumbai Central–Gandhinagar Vande Bharat Express From May 11

Mumbai: To enhance passenger convenience and meet growing travel demand, Western Railway has decided to permanently add three additional AC Chair Car coaches to Train No. 20901/20902 Mumbai Central – Gandhinagar Capital Vande Bharat Express, effective from 11th May, 2025.

As one of India’s premier "Express trains, this train offers a fast, comfortable, and efficient travel experience with modern amenities. Known for its high-speed connectivity between Mumbai and Gandhinagar Capital, this augmentation will further enhance passenger capacity, which will directly add an extra capacity of more than 85,000 passengers annually" said an official.
