Virar: Residents of Virar were left stunned after a delivery boy narrowly avoided a fatal accident when a massive tree suddenly collapsed onto his scooter late at night on Saturday, March 29. The shocking incident occurred around 10:30 pm near Maharashtra Bank in Agashi Chalpeth of Virar.

CCTV footage of the event captured the terrifying moment when the tree unexpectedly toppled over, crashing directly onto the scooter. The delivery boy had only seconds to react but managed to swerve just in time, barely escaping what could have been a deadly accident. The video shows the sheer force of the tree’s fall, revealing how close the rider was to being crushed. Despite the dramatic scene, the delivery boy escaped unscathed, leaving witnesses in disbelief.

Tanker Falls Off Bridge In Palghar, Killing Driver

In another tragic incident, a tanker fell off a bridge in Manor, Palghar district, on Sunday, March 30, resulting in the death of its driver, Ashish Kumar Yadav (29). The tanker, loaded with base oils, was traveling on the Mumbai-Gujarat route when it lost control and plunged onto the service road near Manor Junction.

A video shared on social media by journalist Vishal Singh captured the horrifying moment. The footage shows the tanker suddenly falling from the bridge while bystanders, including three to four men, run for their lives to avoid being crushed. The near-miss for those on the ground added to the shock of the incident.

The Manor police confirmed that Yadav died on the spot due to the impact. While the crash spilled hundreds of liters of thick black oil across the junction, authorities confirmed that no secondary accidents or injuries were reported. The police are investigating the cause of the accident.
