Tata Mumbai Marathon 2025: Central Railway General Manager, RPF Chief Lead Large Team Of Railway Personnel In Marathon For Safety Awareness
The DG RPF, led a team of 50 RPF Personnel participating in the Marathon event displaying RPF’s commitment to Passenger Safety, Women safety and creating awareness against trespassing for ensuring safe travel.

The General Manager also participated in the Tata Mumbai Marathon-2025, along with more than 200 participants from Central Railway, including CR Sportspersons, Principal Head of Departments, Senior Officers and Employees. They competed in various categories such as the Full Marathon, Half Marathon, 10 km, and Dream Run.
Manoj Yadava, Director General, Railway Protection Force (DG RPF) also participated in the 21 kms run. The DG RPF, led a team of 50 RPF Personnel participating in the Marathon event displaying RPF’s commitment to Passenger Safety, Women safety and creating awareness against trespassing for ensuring safe travel.
An RPF band at the Marine Drive promenade cheered the runners and promoted awareness about railway safety.
Indian Railway athletes have always been among the forefront in Marathon events and this year too Indian Railway Sportspersons brought laurels with Sonika Parmar from South Central Railway winning the Silver Medal securing the 2nd position and L M Laxmi, from Nagpur Division of Central Railway securing the 4th position in Full Marathon completing a run of 42.195 kms.
Dharam Veer Meena, General Manager, Central Railway, congratulated the winners and appreciated CR’s Officers and Employees for their wholehearted participation for a noble cause. He said “Tata Mumbai Marathon is not just a sporting event, but a testament to human spirit, perseverance, and community. This marathon is a reflection of Mumbai's indomitable energy, its vibrant culture, and its people's unwavering enthusiasm.”
