Mumbai, April 9: In a heartwarming incident, Senior Police Inspector Prakash Bagal of the Mumbai Economic Offences Wing showed what true humanity and duty look like. He saved the lives of two individuals who were lying injured at Kanjurmarg in Mumbai.

On the morning of April 5, 2025, at around 8:30 AM, Inspector Bagal was on his way to an important crime conference. He was travelling in a government vehicle from Kanjurmarg when he spotted two injured men, bleeding and lying between the highway and service road near Vikhroli.
Without wasting a second, Bagal, along with his driver Gholke, rushed to help. They picked up the two men and quickly took them to Godrej Hospital in their official vehicle. Thanks to their immediate action, both lives were saved.
The Mumbai Police praised this act, calling it a "salute to humanity." It’s a shining example of how our officers not only fight crime but also go out of their way to help people in need.

On 05/04/25 at 8.30 am, Bagal, who was leaving for an important crime conference in a government vehicle from Kanjurmarg, saw two bloodied persons in the middle of the highway and service road at Vikhroli. Without a moment's delay, he picked them up with the help of driver Gholke and admitted them to Godrej Hospital in his vehicle. His immediate help saved two lives. This act of humanity by the police department is definitely commendable. We are proud of your work!"
