In an initiative to provide employment opportunities to the children of police personnel, the Navi Mumbai Police Commissionerate is organizing a large-scale job fair on Tuesday, April 15, from 9 am to 4pm at Agri Koli Bhavan, Nerul Sector-24.

The job fair is aimed at wards of serving and retired officers from the Navi Mumbai Police, other police units, and the State Reserve Police Force (SRPF), helping them find career opportunities in various sectors. Over 2,000 job openings will be offered by more than 100 companies participating from Mumbai, Thane, and Navi Mumbai, said a police officer attached to Navi Mumbai police commissionerate.

This Police Welfare Job Fair has been conceptualized under the leadership of Navi Mumbai Police Commissioner Milind Bharambe. The event will be formally inaugurated by Minister of State for Home, Yogesh Kadam.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Headquarters) Sanjaykumar Patil said, “More than 1,500 police wards with diverse educational backgrounds have already registered, including both experienced professionals and freshers. In a rare move, companies are expected to issue on-the-spot appointment letters to selected candidates during the event itself.”
