Navi Mumbai News: NMMC Announces Temporary Water Supply Disruption On March 28 For Repair Work On Morbe Main Pipeline
The Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) has announced a temporary disruption in water supply on Friday, March 28, due to urgent repair work on a leak in the Morbe Main Water Pipeline at CBD Sector-28. The repair work will require a complete shutdown of water supply from 11 am to 6 pm affecting various parts of the city.

Navi Mumbai: The Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) has announced a temporary disruption in water supply on Friday, March 28, due to urgent repair work on a leak in the Morbe Main Water Pipeline at CBD Sector-28. The repair work will require a complete shutdown of water supply from 11 am to 6 pm affecting various parts of the city.
According to a statement released by NMMC, areas under its jurisdiction, including Belapur, Nerul, Vashi, Turbhe, Sanpada, Koparkhairane, Ghansoli, and Airoli, will experience no water supply on Friday evening. Additionally, direct tap connections on municipal pipelines and CIDCO-managed areas like Kamothe and Kharghar will also be affected.
Residents have been advised to store sufficient water in advance and use water judiciously during this period. The civic body has further informed that on Saturday, March 29, water supply will be restored but with low pressure.
