Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation Announces 50% Waiver On Late Fees For Overdue Water Bills
The NMMC has urged residents to take advantage of this one-time scheme and settle their overdue water bills before March 31, 2025, to avoid further penalties and ensure uninterrupted water services.

Navi Mumbai: The Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) has launched a special Amnesty Scheme offering a 50% waiver on late fees and penalties for overdue water bills. This scheme will be applicable for a limited period from March 21 to March 31, as announced by Municipal Commissioner Dr. Kailas Shinde.
The initiative aims to encourage water bill defaulters to clear their outstanding dues. The concession applies to all categories of water consumers within the NMMC area, including village panchayats along the Morbe Dam to Kalamboli main water pipeline, NMMC official said.
