Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut while commenting on the allegations made by the rebel MLA Gulabrao Patil said that the four people, against whom the allegations have been made, had brought the MVA government where rebel MLAs were ministers for the last two and half years.

After a trust vote in the state assembly, Rebel MLA Gulabrao Patil, during his speech said, "Four people who stay around Uddhav Thackeray are responsible for the current split in Shiv Sena. They never fought elections but become MP on our vote. These people don't have any capabilities but they shout on us."

"I have been taunted for being tapriwala (small shopkeeper), 40 MLAs left MVA was an old fire which was in our mind. We had gone to Shiv Sena leaders and told them to at least, listen to Eknath Shinde but I was told if you want, you can join him. You can't treat MLAs like this. We also fight elections and won elections, 4 lakh people had voted for us," he added.

However, Sanjay Raut, while giving a counter statement, said, "These are the same four people you were with a few days before. These four persons are stalwarts of Shiv Sena and they are still with Shiv Sena. Uddhav Thackeray is wise and he is the son of the late Balasaheb Thackeray so he takes his own decision."

Further, Sanjay Raut while commenting on Eknath Shinde's speech said, "MLAs who left party had to give an emotional speech. So nothing to wonder about Shinde's speech." Raut also mentioned a statement made by West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee that these rebel MLAs got more than money.
