Mumbai News: Zone 8 Police Return Recovered Stolen Property Worth ₹1.54 Crore To Owners
In a programme organised under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner of police Maneesh Kalwaniya, goods worth a total of Rs 1.54 crore were handed over to their rightful owners.

Zone 8 Police took a commendable step by returning stolen and confiscated mobile phones, laptops, and gold jewellery to their rightful owners. These items were recovered during investigations conducted by Kherwadi, Vakola, Vile Parle, Sahar, Nirmal Nagar, and Airport police stations under the zone.

Police officials said that the property seized in theft cases was returned to the owners after completing the legal formalities related to the cases. DCP Maneesh Kalwaniya stated that this initiative is an important step towards building trust between the general public and the police. During the programme, the owners appreciated this effort by the police.
