Mumbai News: Bomb Threat To Kandivali’s KES International School Turns Out To Be Hoax; Probe Underway

Mumbai: The threat to schools through emails continues. A similar threat was made to KES International School in Kandivali on Monday. However, nothing suspicious was found after an inspection.
According to the police, KES is an international board school located in Kandivali West. An email was received on the school’s official ID at around 10:55 am, threatening to blow up the school with a bomb. The school management immediately informed the Kandivali police.
The police, along with a dog squad, inspected the school and the surrounding area. As a precautionary measure, the students were sent home. After a thorough inspection, it was confirmed that the threat was a hoax.

The school management received the email at 10:55 am. The police inspected for about three hours but did not find anything suspicious. A case has been registered against the unknown individual, and the police appealed to citizens not to believe in rumours.
