Mumbai News: BMC Transfers 12 Senior Officers, Promotes Ward Officers To Deputy Municipal Commissioners
In a reshuffle of senior BMC officers, 12 officers including the Assistant Municipal Commissioner and Deputy municipal commissioner (DMC) have been transferred. The new postings include Assistant Commissioners (also known as ward officers) promoted to DMC.

Mumbai: In a reshuffle of senior BMC officers, 12 officers including the Assistant Municipal Commissioner and Deputy municipal commissioner (DMC) have been transferred. The new postings include Assistant Commissioners (also known as ward officers) promoted to DMC.
The tranfer includes newly appointed ward officer of F-North ward Nitin Shukla to B ward and transfer of H-West ward officer Vinayak Vispute to G+North ward. Shukla came into limelight recently after his heroic demolition drive at Matunga flower market, while Satpute was was posted in H-West ward for over five years. There were several complaints and protests against Satpute from citizens as well as ward staff against Satpute.
The transfers of the DMC's includes Sanjay Kurhade, DMC Public Health to Zone VII; Bhagyashari Kapse, DMC-Zone VII to Zone IV; and Vishwas Shankarrao from Zone IV to Tax Collection & Assessment.
