Mumbai Hit-And-Run: Rider Killed, Pillion Injured As Speeding Vehicle Rams Scooter In Wadala
The deceased has been identified as Mayur Hires Singh, while the injured pillion rider is Harsh Santosh Surve. Following a complaint, Wadala TT Police have registered an FIR against an unknown driver and launched a search operation.

Mumbai: A major road accident was reported from Wadala East, where a speeding heavy vehicle rammed into a scooter, killing the rider on the spot and seriously injuring the pillion passenger. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene immediately after the collision.
The deceased has been identified as Mayur Hires Singh, while the injured pillion rider is Harsh Santosh Surve. Following a complaint, Wadala TT Police have registered an FIR against an unknown driver and launched a search operation.
According to police officials, the accident occurred around 12:30 AM on the night of April 27 in the Bhakti Park MHADA area. Mayur and his friend were traveling from Andheri to Wadala when the incident took place. As they reached the Bhakti Park area, a speeding heavy vehicle struck their scooter from behind, causing both riders to fall to the ground.
Mayur sustained severe injuries to his head and legs. The driver of the heavy vehicle fled the scene after the crash. With the help of local residents, both victims were rushed to Sion Hospital, where doctors declared Mayur dead on arrival. Wadala TT Police have registered a case and are actively working to trace and apprehend the absconding driver.
