Mumbai News: Girl Attacked In SoBo With Knives & Blades For Feeding Dogs, Gets 46 Stitches; Horrifying Visuals Surface |

Mumbai: In an appalling incident on Friday, a young girl who was engaged in feeding strays with her brother in Charni Road of Mumbai was violently assaulted by a group of men wielding knives and blades. The 22-year-old victim, identified as Simran, was immediately taken for medical treatment.

The incident took place in the Sikka Nagar area of C.P. Tank in Mumbai's Charni Road. A Police van rushed to the spot immediately after being informed about the incident.

FIR Filed In The Matter

Upon learning of the incident, the NGO Just Smile Charitable Trust promptly accompanied Simran to the JJ hospital and subsequently accompanied her to the police station the following morning to file a First Information Report (FIR) regarding the incident.

More than 46 Stitches for the Victim

According to reports, the victim faced more than 46 stitches during her treatment at the JJ hospital, while her 14-year-old brother also faced some injures in the incident.

Attackers Identified

The attackers were identified as Rajkumar Mishra, Ritika Mishra and Rajesh Mishra, the neighbours of the victims.

Victim's Brother Was Attacked Earlier

Just a few days before this horrifying incident took place, the victim's 14-year-old brother was also attacked by the accused men. A complaint was filed at the VP Nagar Police Station leading to a warning being issued to the attackers.

Reportedly, both children were repeatedly abused and harassed while they used to feed dogs in the locality. The accused used to hurl derogatory comments for the girl and also threatened both the children over feeding dogs.

Cross Complaints Filed by Both Parties

A complaint was filed by the victim's family in the matter. However, Police told Times of India that a cross complaint has been filed by the neighbours claiming that they were not involved in the attack. An investigation has been launched in the matter.
