Mumbai Crime: 50-Year-Old Builder Shot In Targeted Attack By Bike-Borne Assailants In Chembur; Condition Stable

A builder was shot at in a targeted attack by two bike-borne assailants in the Maitri Park area of Chembur on Wednesday night. The victim, identified as Sadruddin Khan, sustained injuries and is currently admitted to Zen Hospital. His condition is reported to be stable.

Mumbai: A builder was shot at in a targeted attack by two bike-borne assailants in the Maitri Park area of Chembur on Wednesday night. The victim, identified as Sadruddin Khan, sustained injuries and is currently admitted to Zen Hospital. His condition is reported to be stable.

According to DCP Navnath Dhawale, the incident occurred while Khan was traveling from Mumbai towards Belapur via the Sion-Panvel highway. The attackers opened indiscriminate fire and fled the scene immediately.

The police are reviewing CCTV footage from the area and have registered a case. Several suspects have been detained for questioning. Preliminary investigations suggest that personal rivalry may have been the motive behind the attack. The investigation is ongoing.
