Mumbai: Central Railway Announces Mega Block On Suburban Sections For Maintenance On January 5; Check Details
These maintenance mega blocks are essential for infrastructure upkeep and safety. Passengers are requested to bear with the Railway Administration for the inconvenience caused.

Central Railway, Mumbai Division, will operate a Mega Block on its suburban sections to carry out various engineering and maintenance works on 5th January 2025.
Matunga-Mulund UP and DOWN Slow Lines from 11:05 AM to 3:55 PM
DOWN slow line services departing from CSMT Mumbai between 10:14 AM and 3:52 PM will be diverted to the DOWN fast line between Matunga and Mulund stations, halting at Sion, Kurla, Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Bhandup, and Mulund stations. These services will then be re-diverted to the DOWN slow line at Mulund station and will arrive at their destination 15 minutes behind schedule.
UP slow line services departing from Thane between 11:07 AM and 3:51 PM will be diverted to the UP fast line at Mulund, between Mulund and Matunga stations, halting at Mulund, Bhandup, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar, Kurla, and Sion. These services will then be re-diverted to the UP slow line at Matunga station and will arrive at their destination 15 minutes behind schedule.
Panvel-Vashi UP and DOWN Harbour Lines from 11:05 AM to 4:05 PM
(Excluding Nerul/Belapur-Uran Port line)
UP Harbour line services towards CSMT Mumbai, leaving Panvel between 10:33 AM and 3:49 PM, and DOWN Harbour line services to Panvel/Belapur, leaving CSMT Mumbai between 9:45 AM and 3:12 PM, will remain suspended.
UP Trans-Harbour line services towards Thane, leaving Panvel between 11:02 AM and 3:53 PM, and DOWN Trans-Harbour line services towards Panvel, leaving Thane between 10:01 AM and 3:20 PM, will remain suspended.
Special local trains will run on the CSMT-Vashi section during the block period.
