Minister Lodha Inaugurates Employment Fair Offering 1,283 Jobs In Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar

Youth should take advantage of employment opportunities aligned with their skills and training, urged Cabinet Minister for Skill Development, Employment, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Shri Mangal Prabhat Lodha, while inaugurating the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Employment Fair held in the city on Friday.

The fair was jointly organized by the District Skill Development, Employment and Entrepreneurship Guidance Center and Chhatrapati Shahu College of Engineering at Kanchanwadi. Minister Lodha formally inaugurated the event and addressed the gathering.

Speaking on the occasion, Minister Lodha said that the concept of skill development was introduced in the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. To supply the trained manpower required by industries, the government is working in coordination with ITIs and entrepreneurs to provide appropriate skill training facilities. This initiative will help ensure the availability of competent and industry-ready human resources.

The employment fair saw participation from several well-known companies from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar and nearby industrial areas. These included firms from sectors such as pharmaceuticals, engineering, automotive, electronics, food processing, agro-industries, IT services, and retail. In total, the employers offered 1,283 vacancies across various roles suited to skilled and semi-skilled candidates.
