Maharashtra Postal Circle Releases Special Postcards To Mark 50 Years Of 'Sholay'

To mark the golden jubilee of G.P. Sippy's legendary film ``Sholay", the Maharashtra postal circle released two specially designed picture postcards and a presentation pack featuring an exclusive golden cancellation.

Chief postmaster general, Maharashtra Circle, Amitabh Singh unveiled the commemorative items and presented the first album to Ramesh Sippy, the acclaimed director of ``Sholay." The event was attended by the Sippy family and senior postal officials. The launch attracted a large number of philatelists and film buffs testifying to the film's enduring popularity.
