Traffic Diversion From Rajwada To Gandhi Hall For Tiranga Yatra; A Large Number Of Participants Are Expected To Join The Yatra | FP Photo
Indore (Madhya Pradesh): In view of the Tiranga Yatra and for the convenience of commuters, traffic from Rajwada to Gandhi Hall would be diverted on Wednesday afternoon.
According to traffic management police, the Tiranga Yatra is scheduled from Rajwada to Gandhi Hall at 4 pm. A large number of participants are expected to join the Yatra. To ensure smooth traffic for people, traffic will be diverted at the following places from 2 pm until the event concludes.
Vehicle movement on MG Road from Regal Square to Rajwada will be diverted. Traffic from Bada Ganpati and Rajwada towards Regal Square will be diverted and commuters can take the route via Bada Ganpati, Subhash Marg, Municipal Corporation, Chikmagalur Square, DRP Line, Rajkumar Bridge to reach their destination. Similarly, vehicles going from Regal Square towards Jawahar Marg can use Patel Statue Square and Jawahar Marg route. Commuters going to the airport are advised to avoid the route via Patel Statue, Sanjay Setu, Nandlalpura, Narsingh Bazaar, Raj Mohalla and Gangwal Bus Stand.
All types of buses and loading vehicles will be completely prohibited from Sanjay Setu towards Nandlalpura. Parking for all vehicles participating in the event will be at Krishnapura Chhatri parking lot.
All buses for the event will drop people near Porwal Dresses and then park behind Gandhi Hall. Traffic management officials cleared that emergency vehicles will be given safe passage during traffic diversion. People are requested to use alternative routes to avoid inconvenience.
