Dewas (Madhya Pradesh): Four members from the same family including husband-wife and their two daughters committed suicide by consuming poison in Devas.
According to reports, the shocking incident unfolded in Udaynagar police station area of Dewas district. Four members of a family, Radheshyam (50), wife Rangu Bai (48) and two daughters Rekha (18) and Asha (16) went to their farm and drank poison at around 10.30 pm on June 21.
Information revealed, the son had a love affair with a married woman in his own extended family. Due to which the angry people of the society boycotted him. However the reason for suicide has not been officially confirmed yet.
After this, all of them were admitted to a private hospital in Indore in critical condition, where Radheshyam died during treatment on Sunday night. On Monday, his wife Rangu Bai and daughter Asha also died. Whereas, the elder daughter Rekha died on Tuesday.
The administration assured an investigating in the matter and will take necessary steps to nab the culprits.
On Tuesday, Rangubai and two daughters Rekha and Asha were cremated on the same pyre. The entire village gathered for the funeral.
