MP: Ratlam Rail Division Gears Up For 2025 With Major Infrastructure Upgrades & Development Projects
The upcoming railway budget, which will be presented alongside the general budget for 2025, is anticipated to allocate sufficient funds to ensure completion of ongoing projects.

Ratlam (Madhya Pradesh): As we step into 2025, Ratlam rail division has been striving significant advancements, building on the progress made in 2024. With various development projects underway and new initiatives expected to be sanctioned.
The upcoming railway budget, which will be presented alongside the general budget for 2025, is anticipated to allocate sufficient funds to ensure completion of ongoing projects.

Several key works were currently in progress in Ratlam rail division:
Teehi tunnel completion: The finishing work on a 3-km long tunnel in Teehi, part of Indore-Dahod new line, is actively underway.
Foundation track construction: Alongside the tunnel, the laying of the foundation track between Teehi and Dhar is progressing rapidly. This includes construction of a station building and platform.
Amrit Station Scheme: Under this initiative, redevelopment is taking place at 16 railway stations, including Dewas, Dahod and Chanderia. The work involves enhancements to the station building, circulating area, covered shed, platform extension and foot over bridges.

Doubling of Neemuch-Ratlam Section: Doubling work along the Neemuch-Ratlam railway section has been making strides. Approximately 34 km of the section from Neemuch to Harkiyakhal and Dhauswas to Badyala Chaurasi has been completed and is operational.
Gauge Conversion: Gauge conversion for approximately 10.91 km between Omkareshwar to Sanawad and Dr Ambedkar Nagar to Patalpani has been successfully completed.
