Mundi (Madhya Pradesh): The Shri Singaji Thermal Power Project in Dongaliya, Khandwa district, achieved a key milestone with unit number 4 of 660 MW capacity restarting successfully on Friday, two days ahead of its scheduled 55-day maintenance period.
The early restart resulted in savings of several crore rupees for the MP Power Generating Company.

Chief engineer JC Junwal congratulated officers, employees and contract workers. He credited the government’s policies and guidance from managing director Manjit Singh, director technical Subodh Nigam, director finance Milind Bhandarkar and chief engineer Abhishek Jain.
He also acknowledged additional chief engineers RK Sahu, VS Malla and HS Tiwari, expressing confidence in continued strong performance.
