According to Khandwa Superintendent of Police Manoj Kumar Rai, the accused has been identified as former Congress leader Mukesh Darbar.

Khandwa (Madhya Pradesh): A man in Madhya Pradesh’s Khandwa district was arrested for allegedly issuing death threats to Tribal Affairs Minister Kunwar Vijay Shah through a WhatsApp message, police confirmed on Saturday.
According to Khandwa Superintendent of Police Manoj Kumar Rai, the accused has been identified as former Congress leader Mukesh Darbar. He allegedly sent a threatening message containing abusive language to Minister Shah on WhatsApp on March 13.

The message read, "Harsud MLA, your death is certain. You will be murdered within three days. Save yourself if you can."
When the minister's supporters asked Darbar to delete the post, he responded, "Multiple cases have been filed against me, and I am frustrated. I will shoot the minister, no matter how much security he has."
Accused called minister’s supporters
Further investigation revealed that Darbar is a resident of the Harsud police station area, and also allegedly made phone calls to the minister’s supporters verbally abusing them.
A case was registered against Darbar at Harsud police station under relevant sections for issuing threats, abusing the minister, and sharing the message on social media. He was tracked down near the Madhya Pradesh-Rajasthan border and arrested on Friday.
Police stated that Darbar has seven criminal cases registered against him, and preventive action is being taken.
In response to the threats, security for the minister has been tightened.
