Mhow: Sarpanch candidate, associates booked for kidnapping
On the complaint of the injured in the case, Simrol police have registered a case against the sarpanch candidate of Kalakund panchayat under the Simrol police station and his associates involved in the incident.

Mhow (Madhya Pradesh): A sarpanch candidate kidnapped another candidate's supporter from his house, took him to a deserted farmhouse and beat him up in an intoxicated state.
On the complaint of the injured in the case, Simrol police have registered a case against the sarpanch candidate of Kalakund panchayat under the Simrol police station and his associates involved in the incident. The police have booked Wasim Khan father Abdul Gafoor resident Gunjara, Shailendra father Matavprasad Verma resident Ratvi, Mahendra father Ballu resident Bhanbardi, Rahul father Ballu, Raj Kohli, Shivnarayan for assault and issuing death threats.
Complainant Ram Bharosa son of Parmeshwar Verma (46) resident Gunjara told that Shailendra Verma and Wasim came to their house at 3 pm on Wednesday and asked him to accompany them. He was taken to a private farmhouse outside the village where they consumed liquor. After this sarpanch candidate, Shailendra Verma asked him why he did not support him which led to a heated argument between them. Verma along with his associates Wasim, Mahendra, Raja and Shivnarayan, slapped, punched and kicked him. After this the accused started arguing among themselves. Taking advantage of this, the victim ran away, called the family members and got himself treated.
