Madhya Pradesh: Villagers Struggle With Aadhaar Card Issues In Jhabua | FPJ
Jhabua (Madhya Pradesh): Residents face significant challenges in obtaining and correcting their Aadhaar cards, a critical requirement for various government schemes.
Many villagers either lack Aadhaar Cards or have errors in their existing ones. It prevents them from accessing essential services like LPG, bank accounts, ration cards, pensions and MNREGA benefits.
Villagers forced to travel to the district headquarters
The situation has worsened since Aadhaar card processing has shifted from Common Service Centres to designated locations such as post offices and banks, which operate only during limited hours.
Villagers were forced to travel to the district headquarters, and stand in long queues, sometimes waiting overnight to resolve issues.
