Badnawar (Madhya Pradesh): Congress workers in Badnawar burned an effigy of Deputy CM Jagdish Devda, condemning his statement on Operation Sindoor as insulting to the Army.
The protest was led by local leaders demanding his immediate dismissal, asserting that no leader stands above the armed forces. Party members expressed strong opposition to any remarks undermining the military’s honour.
Sardarpur (Madhya Pradesh): Congress Block Committee of Sardarpur burnt effigies of Deputy CM Jagdish Devda for his comments on Army and Cabinet Minister Vijay Shah for derogatory comments on military officer Sophia Qureshi, at Ambedkar Square. A scuffle broke out between police and Congress workers burning the effigy. MLA Pratap Grewal demanded immediate action and resignation of both leaders.
Mandsaur (Madhya Pradesh): In protest against derogatory remarks made by Deputy CM Jagdish Devda and Cabinet Minister Vijay Shah regarding the Indian Army, the Mandsaur city and rural Block Congress Committees burnt effigies of both leaders at Gandhi Square. The protest was led by local Congress leaders and MLA Vipin Jain, slogans were raised demanding their dismissal from the cabinet.
Susner (Madhya Pradesh):
Congress workers protested against alleged derogatory remarks on the Indian Army by Deputy CM Jagdish Devda and Minister Vijay Shah in Susner. Effigies of the two BJP leaders were burnt at Dak Bangla Square. Leaders demanded an apology and stated that insult to the Army would not be tolerated.
Dhar (Madhya Pradesh):
Youth Congress workers protested against Deputy CM Jagdish Devda's alleged remarks on the Indian Army by burning his effigy at Mohan Talkies Square. A symbolic funeral procession was carried out with slogans from Modi Petrol Pump to the protest site. Leaders condemned the statement as disrespectful and demanded the dismissal of Devda and Minister Vijay Shah.
