Indore's Mahatma Gandhi Memorial's Post Graduate Students Secure 27 Seats In NEET-SS |
Indore (Madhya Pradesh): For the first time, 27 postgraduate students from Mahatma Gandhi Memorial (MGM) Medical College successfully cleared the All India NEET Super Specialty (NEET-SS) examination.
The NEET-SS exam, conducted by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), is a nationwide entrance test for admission to DM/MCh and DrNB Super Specialty courses in India. The examination is the sole gateway to these advanced programmes in private medical colleges, universities and deemed universities across the country.
The first round of counselling for NEET-SS admissions, overseen by the Medical Council of India (MCI), concluded between May 22 and May 28.
MGM Medical College’s students secured super-specialty seats in high-demand disciplines such as urology, neurology, radiology, pathology, orthopaedics and internal medicine.
Reacting to the achievement, Dr Arvind Ghanghoria, dean of MGM Medical College, expressed immense pride. “This is a historic moment. For the first time, so many students from one institution in Madhya Pradesh have cleared the NEET Super Specialty exam in a single year.
This underscores why MGM stands out as one of the most advanced and excellent institutions in the country.”
