Indore: Water Resources Minister Tulsi Silawat Inaugurates, Lays Foundation For 100+ Infra Projects
The minister also revealed plans for major infrastructure initiatives ahead of the Simhastha-2028

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Water Resources Minister Tulsi Ram Silawat inaugurated and performed bhoomipujan for over 100 infrastructure projects worth over Rs 12 crore at a grand event at Sanwer on Sunday.
Addressing a large gathering, Silawat highlighted the transformative progress Sanwerhas made over the past six years. “Development works worth crores have been completed in all 15 wards of Sanwer,” he said. These projects include cement concrete roads, drainage systems, storm water lines, bridges, anganwadicenters, community buildings, crematoria, playgrounds, and gardens.
Among the key projects launched on Sunday were a barrage and filter plant worth Rs 5 crore in Ward No 7, and paver block road construction from Khandelwal Pump to the rest house in Ward No 3 for Rs 1 crore. Silawat also announced Rs 5 crore funding for a new college building, a one-stop centre, and the provision of furniture to schools in the area.
The minister also revealed plans for major infrastructure initiatives ahead of the Simhastha-2028, including a Metro project, a six-lane bypass, a new court building valued at Rs 36 crore, an ITI, a college library, station upgrades, and Rs 9 crore worth of improvements at the Krishi Mandi. He also confirmed that the DPR for the Chandravatiganj to Pitruparvat road is underway.
