Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A group of tent workers assaulted a family at a marriage garden following a dispute over the removal of tent vehicles under Dwarkapuri police station limits late on Saturday night.
The incident took place at Veer Virendra Garden around 1:45 am when family members requested the tent workers to move their vehicles.
Enraged over it, the workers assaulted both male and female members of the wedding party with wooden sticks, causing injuries. The injured were rushed to the hospital where they are undergoing treatment. The accused also allegedly misbehaved with the women.
As per reports, the wedding of the Agrawal family from Betma was being held at Veer Virendra Marriage Garden.

Dwarkapuri police station in-charge Rahul Singh Rajpootsaid that a dispute broke out between three to four unidentified tent workers and the family over the removal of the vehicles. The tent workers abused, threatened and assaulted the family members with wooden sticks, resulting in injuries.
A case has been registered against the unidentified accused under relevant sections of the BNS and further investigation is underway.
