Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Water resources minister Tulsiram Silawat inaugurated and performed bhoomi pujan for development works worth Rs 8.25 crore in Ward 19 in Sanwer assembly constituency on Sunday. Bhoomi pujan was performed for six works of public works and drainage department, with total cost estimated at Rs 4.17 crore.

These include construction of cement concrete road in Kumedi in Ward No 19 at a cost of Rs 21.54 lakh, cement concrete work of the damaged road from the crematorium at a cost of Rs 72.4 lakh, construction of community hall on government land in front of government school in Comedy village at a cost of Rs 50 lakh, construction of cement concrete work on the damaged link road connecting Karol Bagh to Premium Park at a cost of Rs 1.67 crore, laying of strong water line for drainage of rain water in front of Nirvana Hotel located in Comedy village to culvert there at a cost of Rs 74.44 lakh and Anganwadi in front of Kumedi Kakar Fire Station at a cost of Rs 29.90 lakh.

Bhoomi pujan was also performed for laying a new sewage line in front of Sulabh Complex near Narwal Kakad in the colony towards MR-10. Besides, Silawat inaugurated a total of four works by the public works department at a total cost of Rs 4.6 crore.

These include laying of strong water line for drainage of rain water from Comedy village to the culvert of the crematorium, at a cost of Rs 26.42 lakh, construction of cement concrete road from the government school of Comedy village to the culvert and in the internal streets at a cost of Rs 1.90 crore and cementing of the road connecting Karol Bagh in front of MPEB substation in Comedy village at a cost of Rs 1.32 crore.
