Indore Police's Cyber Pathshala: BSF Officers Learn Ways To Ensure Digital Safety
Additional DCP Rajesh Dandotiya along with the police team made aware BSF officers of various ranks in the auditorium of BSF, CSWT campus on Saturday.

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): With an aim to make people aware of the increasing cybercrimes, various awareness programmes are being organised by the police under the guidance of police commissioner Santosh Kumar Singh.
Additional DCP Rajesh Dandotiya along with the police team made aware BSF officers of various ranks in the auditorium of BSF, CSWT campus on Saturday. The officer gave information to the BSF officials on the basis of a case study of complaints of cybercrimes received by the police. He gave them detailed information about various types of cyber frauds, financial frauds and digital arrest, sextortion, fake investment etc.

He also gave tips to avoid cybercrime, how to lodge a complaint on 1930, www.cybercime.gov.in or Indore Police's Cyber Helpline No. 7049124445 and how the police take action on these etc. He informed the BSF officials that just as you always protect the country's borders from enemies by ensuring tight security and alertness, in the same way, if you are aware and cautious while using smart phone and internet, then you will be able to keep your digital life safe from cyber criminals.
So, be very careful while doing any digital work, stay away from fake links, fake loan apps, unknown video calls and fake investment platforms, use social media carefully and do not share your personal information with any unknown person. During the workshop, the police team also gave cyber awareness pamphlets and stickers to the BSF officers and motivated them to cooperate in bringing cyber awareness by being aware themselves.
