Indore: One Flight For Lucknow To Be Stopped In Summer Schedule |
Indore (Madhya Pradesh): The operation of one of the two flights being operated from the city to Lucknow will be stopped from March 1. The reason of stopping the operation is cited as the maintenance of runway at the Lucknow airport.
According to information, Lucknow airport will be closed from 10 am to 6 pm till July 15 for the proposed runway repair from 1st of next month. Two flights take off daily from Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Airport for Lucknow one in the morning and the other in the ight.
But in the summer schedule coming into effect from March 30, the operation of one flight will be stopped. The first flight departs from here at 6 am and reaches Lucknow at 7.50 am. In return the flight departs at 8.15 am and arrives in the city at 10.20 am.
While the second flight departs from here at 5.15 pm and reaches Lucknow at 7.10 pm. The return flight departs from there at 9.10 pm and lands here at 11.15 pm.
However, according to the new schedule, flight number 6E 7422 will depart at 4.10 pm and reach Lucknow at 6.10 pm, while flight number 6E 7439 will depart from Lucknow at 9.30 am and arrive in Indore at 11.35 am. In the Summer schedule the operation of flight 6E-7439 will be stopped.
