Indore: Man Robs Couple To Arrange Money For His Marriage, Held

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A man was arrested for robbing a couple of a bag containing cash and valuables worth lakhs in the Bhanwarkuan area on Friday.
He allegedly confessed to committing the robbery to arrange money for his marriage next month.
According to the police, a couple was robbed of their bag near Rajiv Gandhi Square late on Wednesday. The couple was returning home from a marriage function when they were targeted by the accused, who was on a bike.
A case was registered and a team was constituted for the arrest of the accused. Police claimed that more than 200 CCTVs of the area were checked to identify the accused. When he was identified, the police arrested him from the area.
The accused was identified as Bharat alias Babla, a resident of Arjunpura Multistoried building. The accused told the police that he had stolen a bike from the Annapurna area after that he reached Rajiv Gandhi Square where he spotted the couple and robbed them after getting a chance.
The accused allegedly informed the police that his marriage is fixed for next month and he needed money for the same to commit the crime. He is being questioned for his involvement in other such crimes.
