Indore: Arrangements made for polling parties coming from other districts
Collector and district election officer Manish Singh issued an order on Sunday saying that places have been fixed for the stay of the polling personnel from July 4 evening, till the end of the election.
Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Arrangements for food and lodging have been made at various places in the city for polling personnel coming from districts such as Dhar, Jhabua and Barwani for the municipal polls which will be on July 6, 2022.
Collector and district election officer Manish Singh issued an order on Sunday saying that places have been fixed for the stay of the polling personnel from July 4 evening, till the end of the election.
An officer-in-charge has also been appointed for making necessary arrangements at the places of stay. The total numbers of polling personnel coming from the districts are 1,500.
According to the order issued by district election officer Singh, arrangements for lodging and catering have been made for the polling personnel of Barwani district at Agrasen Samaj Dharamshala at Bypass Indore. Similarly, Omni Residency for polling personnel coming from Dhar district near Bombay Hospital and Omni Oasis near Bombay Hospital. For staff from Jhabua arrangements have been made at La Omni near Sayaji Hotel and Akanksha Hostel at Bhanwarkuwan and at Hostel in Khandwa Road.
The officers-in-charge of the places fixed by the collector have been directed that they will ensure necessary arrangements in coordination with the Nodal Officer of the concerned district to accommodate the polling personnel.
The officer-in-charge will also ensure sending the polling personnel to Nehru Stadium on time to get the polling material.
District supply officer Meena Malakar will ensure proper accommodation facilities for the polling officials. Additional collector Pawan Jain has been authorized to supervise and control all the arrangements.
