Indore: 2,250 polling parties to reach polling booths today as Nehru Stadium becomes epicentre of polling
Giant waterproof domes set up in case of rainfall

For holding elections to the Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC), 2,250 polling parties will reach their respective polling booths along with the polling materials on Tuesday.
Elaborate arrangements have been made at Nehru Stadium for the distribution of voting material. In view of the rainy season, arrangements have been made to ensure that both polling parties and the polling materials are not affected by the rain.
Similar to all other elections, the Nehru Stadium is going to be the epicentre of polling activities for the IMC elections.
Collector and district election officer Manish Singh has directed the members of all the polling parties and the officers engaged in material distribution work to reach Nehru Stadium in time on July 5.
Under the direction of Collector Singh, elaborate arrangements have been made for the distribution of voting material. Care has been taken that no polling personnel should face any kind of trouble.
In view of the rainy season, huge waterproof domes have been set up at the Nehru Stadium. The distribution of polling materials there will start from Tuesday morning.
In all 2,250 tables have been set up polling booth wise inside the domes. More than 400 vehicles have been arranged to transport the polling personnel to and from the polling booths. 1,500 personnel from Dhar, Jhabua and Barwani will also be posted here. Proper arrangements have also been made for their stay, food etc.
