Indore: 18-Year-Old Girl Girl Dies After Being Hit By Speeding Bike While Crossing Road

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): An 18-year-old girl was killed after being hit by a speeding motorcycle while crossing the road in the Vijay Nagar area on Saturday evening. She was on her way to the office when the accident occurred. She was rushed to the hospital where she succumbed to her injuries during treatment.

According to police, the deceased was identified as Divya Kalesiriya, a native of Dewas. Divya was living in Indore for her studies and also worked at a store in Malhar Mall.

She was crossing the road on her way to work when a speeding motorcycle struck her, throwing her several feet away and causing severe head injuries.

She was initially taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition and later referred to MY Hospital, where she succumbed during treatment.

Family members alleged that the traffic police had initially told them that they detained the biker and handed him over to the Vijay Nagar police station. However, when the family reached the police station, they were told that the accused is not there.
