Grand Event Organised For Promotion Of Maha Kumbh In Indore

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Renowned spiritual leaders from the Shambhu Panchdashnam Aawahan Akhada, including Mahant Jai Vijay Bharti Maharaj, Amarsabdanand Puri Maharaj, Thanapati Sevanand Giri Maharaj and Mahant Raghav Bharti Maharaj, arrived in Indore from Trimbakeshwar, Maharashtra.
Their visit aimed at promoting the upcoming Mahakumbh and uniting followers of Sanatan Dharma. Upon their arrival, they were accorded a grand welcome by devotees and akhada saints. Mahant Jai Vijay Bharti said, ‘Mahakumbh is not just a religious event, but a great celebration of our sanatan tradition and culture.
To make it grand and successful, everyone should ensure their participation.’
Climate change and pollution control week observed
The National Pollution Control Week was observed at the Police Training Centre where trainee police personnel discussed air pollution factors and its adverse health effects, the importance of tree plantation for pollution control and the role of millets in environmental health.

The session was coordinated by Dr Joshi and Anand Chauhan. At the conclusion, Dr Mishra administered an oath to reduce pollution individually under the National Climate Change and Human Health Programme (NPCCHH).
AICTSL Indore moves towards green mobility
With new electric buses Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargava launched 10 new 35-seater electric AC buses at the Atal Indore City Transport Services Ltd on Wednesday.
These buses, under the Amrit Yojna, aim to promote green mobility and enhance passenger convenience.
The buses will operate on the M-6 route from Rajwada Chowk to Tejaji Nagar Chowk, covering a distance of 10.5 km with 19 bus stops. The fully AC buses are equipped with CCTV, passenger information systems, panic buttons, USB ports and fire safety features. Indore currently operates 70 electric buses with more set to be added.
