Indore (Madhya Pradesh): The UGC-DAE Consortium for Scientific Research (UGC-DAE CSR), Indore, is all set to host the 35th annual general meeting (AGM) of the Materials Research Society of India (MRSI) along with the International Union of Materials Research Societies – International Conference in Asia (IUMRS-ICA) 2024 and 6th Indian Materials Conclave (IMC), from December 3-6.
The conference will take place at Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) in association with leading institutes including Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technology (RRCAT) and IIT Indore. The event is expected to bring together over 700 delegates from across the globe, making it an important international gathering in the field of materials science.
UGC chairman Jagadesh Kumar will preside over the inagural session whereas chairman of Atomic Energy Commission and Secretary of Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Dr Ajit Kumar Mohanty will be the chief guest.
Besides, prof Indranil Manna, president of Indian National Academy of Engineering, will be the special guest. This conference aims to gather the top researchers, key leaders, students and industry experts to share, discuss and exchange latest scientific knowledge, innovative ideas and Up-to-date knowledge in materials research.

University Grants Commission in collaboration with Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya is organising a one-day zonal conference titled “Implementation of NEP-2020” for autonomous colleges at the university auditorium on Monday.
