Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Construction of 10 CM Rise Schools in Indore is in its final stages and is expected to accommodate nearly 55,000 students, said Nandkishor Pahadiya, during a review meeting held on Wednesday with principals of government schools.
The meeting, chaired by Pahadiya and organised by the General Administration Department of the Indore Municipal Corporation, focused on accelerating public education reforms in the city.
He emphasised that the new CM Rise Schools would play a pivotal role in enhancing education quality by providing modern infrastructure and advanced learning facilities, benefiting students from both urban and rural backgrounds.
“These schools are designed to bring quality education within everyone’s reach,” Pahadiya said, adding that the facilities aim to set a new benchmark for public education.
During the review, he also assessed ongoing development work across various government schools. Officials were instructed to expedite stalled projects, and Pahadiya warned that contractors responsible for delays would face formal notices.
The session included school principals, cluster heads, committee members, and senior officers from the District Education Department. The meeting also addressed the upcoming Teacher Felicitation Ceremony on Teacher’s Day, with suggestions to recognise outstanding schools in each assembly constituency and honour exceptional teachers from both urban and rural areas.
