Guna: Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia on Monday surprised everyone when he took a broom in his hand to clean a dusty post office in Guna Lok Sabha constituency in Madhya Pradesh. The video of Scindia cleaning the post office surfaced online.
Notably, the Union Minister is on a three-day tour of the Shivpuri-Ashoknagar region. On Monday, Scindia visited the Isagarh post office, which is located 65 km from Guna. He questioned staff about the cleanliness practices after he noticed he dust and disorganised condition of the post office, an eyewitness told PTI.

However, dissatisfied with the response of the post office staff, he himself too broom and started cleaning. The Union Minister even reorganised the scattered items.
The Union Minister then directed officials at the post office to maintain cleanliness. Later in the day, the Union Minister visited Shivpuri district, where he inaugurated a new fire brigade vehicle at the Badarwas Nagar Parishad. he also drove the fire brigade vehicle. In Nainagir village, he inaugurated a newly constructed bridge and participated in a community gathering.
In the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Scindia won the Guna seat defeating Congress's Rao Yadavendra Singh Yadav with a margin of over five lakh votes.
