According to the police, in an old case related to Punjab, gangster Jaggu Bhagwanpuria told the police that Bishnoi had given him weapons to carry out the crime and the Delhi Police wants to interrogate Bishnoi in that case.

Bhagwanpuri is currently lodged in jail.

Speaking to the media, Bishnoi's lawyer Vishal Chopra said that Lawrence Bishnoi's 10-day police remand has ended and Delhi Police has sought 4 days of police remand in other case under Arms Act which they didn't oppose.

"This case pertains to disclosure statement by co-accused in same case that Bishnoi supplied weapons," ANI quoted him Chopra as saying.

Meanwhile, giving a press confrence on Thursday, Special Commissioner of Police (Special Cell) H S Dhaliwal confirmed that Bishnoi is the mastermind in the Sidhu Moosewala murder case.

Notably, Bishnoi was the key suspect in the killing of Sidhu Moose Wala, but had not confessed to the crime. He is said to be connected to Canada-based gangster Goldy Brar, who claimed responsibility for Moose Wala's murder earlier this week.

Moose Wala, a 28-year-old singer-politician, was shot dead by some unidentified attackers in Punjab's Mansa district on May 29, a day after his security cover was cut down by the Punjab government.
