VIDEO: Muslim Man Prays Namaz Inside Hospital During Ramadan In UP's Firozabad; Probe Ordered

Firozabad (Uttar Pradesh), March 10: A video has surfaced on social media in which a man is seen praying Namaz inside a hospital in Uttar Pradesh's Firozabad. The man was caught on camera while praying Namaz inside the hospital and the video is going viral on social media. The video has sparked a debate on social media with few people supporting the man while others protesting against the man for praying inside the hospital.

There are reports that the incident occurred at the 100-bed hospital in Firozabad on Sunday (March 09), where an elderly man wearing a kurta, pyjama and Muslim cap is praying inside the hospital near a stretcher. The video was made by an onlooker and shared on social media after which it went viral on the internet. The video invited mixed reactions from the social media users.

The incident came to light as the Muslim community in the entire country is observing fasts and celebrating their holiest month which is Ramadan. During the month of Ramadan, the Muslims observe fast, pray Namaz and do charity. The man who must have accompanied a patient at the hospital, put his praying mat on the floor at the corner of the hospital and is seen performing Namaz.
