VIDEO: Man Attacks Milk Seller 22 Times With Butcher Knife Over Suspicion Of Affair With His Wife In Bilaspur

Bilaspur (Chhattisgarh), April 21: In a shocking incident, a man attacked a milkman with a meat-cutting weapon or cleaver over suspicion of an extra-marital affair with his wife in Chhattisgarh's Bilaspur. The horrific incident of the man attacking the milkman while he was riding his bicycle has surfaced on the internet and the video of the incident is going viral on social media. The video shows the husband attacking the milkman repeatedly with the butcher knife.

There are reports that the incident occurred on Sunday (April 20) in the Talapara area which falls under the Civil Lines Police Station limits. The attacker has been identified as Mohammad Mobin (32) and the victim milkman has been identified as Jaipal Sahu (35).

Mobin struck Jaipal 22 times with the sharp weapon, leaving him seriously injured. Jaipal suffered deep wounds all over his body and his head was severely injured in the brutal attack. He was rushed to SIMS Hospital in a critical condition.

The horrifying attack was caught on CCTV, showing blood flowing on the road as Mobin kept hitting Jaipal with the butcher knife. Mobin attacked Jaipal while he was passing through a narrow lane on his bike. Jaipal was surprised by the attack and could not save himself from the continued blows with the sharp weapon. Many people were present at the spot, however, no one came forward to help the victim.

After attacking Jaipal, Mobin fled the spot, thinking the milkman was dead. He then tried to go to his wife’s house in Tifra, reportedly intending to attack her too. However, the police caught him before he could reach there.

During police interrogation, Mobin admitted to the crime. He said he believed Jaipal was having an affair with his wife and blamed this for his wife leaving him and going to her parents’ home.

Civil Lines police station in-charge confirmed that the attack was driven by suspicion of an extra-marital affair. He added that the investigation is ongoing and legal action is being taken.
