Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw's Father Dies At AIIMS Jodhpur
Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw's father, Daulal Vaishnaw, died on Tuesday at AIIMS Jodhpur. Daulal Vaishnaw was admitted to AIIMS Jodhpur after his condition deteriorated. He was 82 years old. His last rites will be performed in Jodhpur.

Jodhpur: Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw's father died on Tuesday at AIIMS Jodhpur. Daulal Vaishnaw took his last breath at 11:52 am. He was reportedly ill for the past few days.
Daulal Vaishnaw was admitted to AIIMS Jodhpur after his condition deteriorated. He was 82 years old. His last rites will be performed in Jodhpur.
“It is with deep sorrow that we inform that Shri Daulal Vaishnav Ji, father of Hon’ble Railway Minister, passed away today on 08th July 2025 at 11:52 AM at AIIMS Jodhpur. He was critically ill for the last few days and was undergoing treatment at AIIMS Jodhpur. Despite the best efforts of the medical team, he could not be saved," Jodhpur AIIMS said in a statement.
"The AIIMS Jodhpur family prays for the peace of the departed soul and expresses deep condolences to the bereaved family,” it added.
Daulal Vaishnaw as a native of Pali district in Rajasthan. He later moved to Jodhpur. He was a lawyer and income tax consultant in Jodhpur, reported India TV.
Congress MP from Punjab’s Gurdaspur expressed condolences over the demise of Daulal Vaishnaw.
“Deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Railway Minister Shri @AshwiniVaishnaw Ji's father, Shri Daulal Vaishnaw Ji. My heartfelt condolences to the family. May his soul rest in peace,” he said in an X post.
