Speeding Bike Hits Leopard While Crossing Road Near Kerala-Tamil Nadu Border; Here's What Happened Next (Video)
The collision took place at approximately 8 am on Thursday when the Rajan, a Gudalur resident, on the bike, struck the animal. The crash knocked both the leopard and the rider to the ground.
A leopard sustained injuries after colliding with a motorcycle while crossing the road at Nadukani Marapalam near the Kerala-Tamil Nadu border.
Footage of the incident circulating online shows both the wild cat and the motorcycle on the pavement. The seemingly stunned leopard eventually regains consciousness, rises to its feet, and disappears into the nearby vegetation.

Rajan escaped with minor injuries, while the leopard remained motionless temporarily before gradually standing up and retreating to the forest.
South First reported that Forest Department officials reviewed the incident footage and determined the leopard did not appear to suffer any significant visible injuries. Officials also examined the collision site.
